Splitter mods Modifications to Ramsplitter H/V 16 electric splitter. Hex-head bolts were hanging up on logs as they split (especially on larger diameter logs), robbing the splitter of power. Replaced with countersunk bolts. This photo shows one hex-head bolt still in place. The remainder are the countersunk bolts. Downside to this modification: I could not find galvanized bolts of the new style. It may be a problem if I need to disassemble for any reason
