Detail of hinge strap and roller axle assembly. Sometimes things just work out. I found a couple of old gate hinge straps. Then went to the hardware store and got two pipe stand bases for 3/8" pipe. I got a 3/8" pipe nipple about 5" long. I cut this in two. A 1/2" bolt would just slip though the 3/8" pipe. I used a couple of washers just for grins. I tack welded the bolt at the end of the pipe.
