Laser sighting in - Jan 2013
Here is the “after”. The head is all the way back to the hitch end and the laser beam falls between the paint marks.

I found the sighting process tedious and time consuming. One had to get the feel of how much to over adjust so that when the holder was tightened down, the sightline would move into the right place. I verified by measuring 12” above the bed rails at various places.

Close enough for horse shoes and hand grenades.
