Landing		Cleared area in the woods to which logs are yarded for loading onto trucks for shipment to a processing plant. Also known as brow, deck, dock, or ramp. Usually flat ground to which logs are yarded, where they will be loaded on railroad cars or trucks; a collection point for logs. -Center of operations on a logging operation.
