Ownership classes | County -Land owned by counties or land leased by them for more than 50 years. Farmer owned -Land owned by operators of farms. Farm must include 10 or more acres from which the sale of agricultural products totals $50 or more annually, or, if less than 10 acres, the yield must be at least $250 annually. Forest industry -Land owned by companies or individual operating wood-using plants. Indian -Tribal land held by the Federal Government but administered for Indian tribal groups and Indian trust allotments. Miscellaneous federal -Federal land other than National forest, Bureau of Land Management, and Indian land. Miscellaneous private -Privately owned land other than forest industry or farmer owned. Municipal -Land owned by municipalities or land leased by them for more than 50 years. National Forest -Federal lands that have been designated by Executive Order or Statute as National Forests, or purchased units and other land under the administration of the USDA Forest Service. Other public -Public land other than National Forests. State -Land owned by States, local public agencies, or land leased by them for more than 50 years. |
