Additional or regional comments : This is not considered to be a proper or acceptable social skill, although those who delve in the act seem to be oblivious to the fact that the public recognizes their fawning with disapproval. Brown nosing falls short of true admiration and is generally looked upon with disdain and spoken of in the same terms as "sucking up". |
