how are you michigan loggers doing against that green bug. Im from washington state but ive been in southern ca. for 2 years taking down bark beetle killed trees. Ive had about enough of califonia and would like to know if theres any work out there for a good man. 44 years old with over 25 years in the woods. climb, cut, tend hook, anything but run equipment. aint that old yet! dont mind filling in.  good shovel, skidder,or stroker operater, but they bore me.My favorite is working in the riggin.

joe,

Have you contacted any BC forest companies? They have a beetle problem in the interior as well. Also, coastal forest companies are always looking for fellers and rig setters, but it's alot of isolated camp life.
