The video shows progress to date on a craft cabin we are building at the Camp Bays Mountain in Kingsport Tennessee.  The structure is a modified timber frame (no mortise tenon joinery).  It is mostly SYP with some chestnut oaks used for tie beams and braces.  I have sawed all the lumber except for the lean to shed rafters.  It is 40 by 30 overall dimension.  Should get the board and batten siding on by Christmas.

I apologize for posting this video without any background information.  Here is the link https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,94809.msg1461825.html#msg1461825
to a previous post on this project.

For those that had expressed an interest in helping with this project, I was able to get some local help that were willing to work when I could work. I appreciate all who offered to help.  We still have another 2 or 3 days of work to finish.  It is not pure timber frame but the techniques we used were approved by a structural engineer.  We used half lap joints for beam to post connections and angle iron and high tensile bolts for tie beam to post connections.  There is a combination of 6 and 10 inch Timberlok screws throughout the frame.   It will be finished off with board and batten siding, all SYP 4/4.
