Hey, isn't that discriminatory to guys with mills that use longer / wider blades. I sold my LT35 to move up, and these are now too small...

Course, I've almost given up hope on seeing my 450 any way I guess ;-)

I may have to start following WM on fb while I'm at work. The forum automatically redirects me to the Europe site when I'm at work. Not sure how I would still give credit due to the forum that way though.

Bruno,

What blade length do you need? This Friday, we will be making the Winter Blade Variety Box available in more lengths in addition to the 158" :) Check out www.woodmizer.com/blackfriday on Friday for more info!

This kind of stuff really doesn't excite me. I would be happy to buy an extra box of Turbo 7s and get a free RazorTip with that, but why would I buy a mish-mash box of several blades I won't use just to get a free one? Seems like the WM "specials" are for those who want a small hobby mill in the yard rather than a broader range that also appeals to higher-volume producers. But then I guess that is the quintessential aim of most Black Friday marketing, too. Mark an Lt-70  or diesel edger down 25% or something and I'll be standing in line.

RPowers,

I think the idea is to give sawyers a variety of blades to try in order to see which one works best for what they are sawing. We give folks a discount on the box so that they are able to do this testing for themselves with a lower investment in time and cost rather than by selecting blades one by one. The free RazorTip blade by itself is about $70 as well.

I'll talk to the higher ups about an LT70/Edger Combo :) I think we've had a sale similar to this recently.

Happy sawing!

Peter Drouin,

Same management and employee-owned! Many of our employees have 20 - 30+ years of service to the company :)

New products are to give customers more options to choose from. We understand people have many different sawing needs and preferences and we don't believe in a one-size fits all approach - maybe in a one brand fits all!

Happy sawing  8)

Early Christmas present bruno? :)

I am still wondering how long it should take to get the box. Mine has not arrived yet and I have no shipping confirmation.
