Hi there,
I took my Husqvarna 236 to the shop because it wasn't running properly. They checked it and the piston was damaged. Repair would be €400 (some other things too), and seeing as a piston set was €30 online I decided to do it myself. No problem, piston was easy to install but now I have to reassemble the chainsaw. The shop took it apart and gave it back in pieces so I have no documentation of how it should be put back together. I'm putting back the carb but now there are two fuel lines coming from the body, and the carb has two point to which I can connect fuel lines. Now the bulb also has fuel lines connected to it? I cannot figure out or find a diagram of which fuel line goes where. Can anybody help me with this? I have a picture but for some reason I cannot upload it.
Thanks!

Should be like a Poulan.
Fuel Pickup-line through hole under carb to carb nipple nearest to fuel pump side (1 big screw)
Other carb nipple-line to SHORT purge nipple.
LONG purge nipple line to tank hole in corner near clutch.
Husky: 372xt, 272xp, 61, 55 (x3)...Poulan: 315, 4218 (x3), 2375, 2150, 2055, 2000 (x3)...Stihl 011AVT...Homelite XL...Saws come in broken, get fixed or parted, find new homes

So if I understand correctly, there's 3 fuel lines?

You can find the manual here but you might need to put in a some more info than just 236 to find it.

I find manuals for a 235 but not a 236.

Yes, 3 fuel lines.
1. fuel supply - 10-12" long with fuel pickup in tank.
2. Short purge line from carb - 4-5"
3. Long purge line to tank - 7-8"

The purge circuit is to pull air out of carb to replace with fuel - supplied by the fuel supply line.
You don't NEED a purge circuit for a good running saw. It's a fairly new invention for cold starts requiring a few less pulls.
