Need 2x4 extension for slab holder

Check your local fencing company. I believe the vinyl fence uses a box tube big enough to sleeve a 2x4 into. It should be cheap, especially if they have cut offs.

Those Menards composite fence rails were strong enough so I bought them.  I'll cut them to length and stick them on this week.  It was the cheapest solution and I think it will work well.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

They make heavy gauge metal studs and track very strong they frame carrying walls
Lt 40 wide with 38hp gas and command controls , F350 4x4 dump and lot of contracting tools

 They come 68" long and I cut them into three pieces 22 11/16 long.  They are a wood/plastic composite so my mitre saw made quick work of them, no problem. I don't think I even need to add any 2x4 inside them.  Just slipped them over the horse ends.  Total cost:  4 lengths for $27.96 plus tax.
