Hey, remember i'm no logger.

But, if i can say.

Get a four wheel drive, and go driving in the mountains. I mean, something serious, like a jeep, an old toyota, a little suzuki. Not a whale, which will get stuck on the first rock. And go wheeling. This is a very good training.

When i tried my Latil for the first time, in places i've been in with my toyota, it's like whoah! It's soooo easy. Even with a tall machine like this.
French CD4 sawmill. Latil TL 73. Self moving hydraulic crane. Iveco daily 4x4 lwb dead as of 06/2020. Replaced by a Brimont TL80 CSA.

Latils are cool.  I have a couple facebook pages dedicated to vintage off road.  Type 'Vintage All Wheel Drive' in the FB search.  I have one for tractors, tracked, skidders etc and one for other all wheel drive vehicles.

I have a lot of off road experience in all kinds of rigs. I can usually go where others can't.  I can pick lines and read vehicle dynamics pretty well, so I'm not too worried about it.

I've decided to try to find a good condition 230A.
