I just now acquired some replacement bars for this old saw. It does run great! Now that I'm (somewhat) smarter, I'll be greasing that bar nose. Got used to the Stihl sprocket nose and did not know any better. So....  what kind of grease should I use? I do have access to some serious high speed/high pressure grease for the zt mower deck spindles. Use that? Or is there something special? Another question....can the Stihl chain be used on this? How can I determine their compatibility? Make sure the saw sprocket matches? Nose sprocket matches? My Stihls are all 20" bar/chain lengths and I'd like to keep it the same....if possible....

If your bar has the typical pinhole for greasing, the problem is getting grease into it. I'd get an Oregon plastic grease gun and not worry about the kind of grease in it. It looks and feels like a typical lithium grease.
