Coconut

Hi Folks ,Does anyone have a clark skidder in use or not? Purchased one two mths. ago. What does it compare to in the TJ line up?

Neilo

I would think similar to a TJ 360. Depends on age.

Coconut

Hi! Neilo. I think the clark 665D is a 1987.It came with 24.5-32 tires. With a 667 drive train, Also an  extension to  the frame to compensate  for the drive train.

Sounds like a nice machine.
What's it powered by?
And you know the rule.
Pictures required.  :D
Work hard. Be rewarded.

Hi everyone here is a pic of the skidder as requested, it is powered by a 353 Detroit.

Neilo

Looks great. That should pull coconut palms no problem.

Congrats and good luck with it.
Make sure you know how to fall properly when you fall and as to not hurt anyone around you.
Also remember, it's not the fall what hurts, its the sudden stop. !!

Hey Coconut, that's a nice looking machine you have there !! Many years ago I worked a 664 that had been re-powered with a 453 or so they told me. It was an awesome machine to drive and pulled like crazy. Bigger tires made it a bit of a climb but it was worth it.
Enjoy the ride and safety first !!

I knew she was a keeper when she told me to buy the old skidder !!!!!
