walnut burl
« on: September 11, 2017, 11:58:30 pm »
So I've got a walnut tree with quite a bit of burl up and down the log, log maybe 25" or so in diameter and maybe 30'+ of burled log.  I've never seen one before, don't know how to market.

I'm cutting on shares for family friend and would like to do the best job marketing this.  I'm in northern VA if anyone has any thoughts.  If I was in CA I'd make a beeline for one of our colleagues in the high desert that cooks a mean meal.

But I'm not so any ideas ?  Has anyone in Appalachia sold a burled walnut tree?
