I haven't been here in a while. For some reason, I have been buried in logs this year, averaging 1-2 good size (18" x 12' min) white pines each weekend. My parents came across an article about a new troop in my hometown building and selling birdhouses as a fundraiser and was asking for donations of lumber. Have sawmill, have dried pine from years past, am an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout Troop in my home town, the only question is how many boards do you need?

I sent of a dozen boards for bird houses for their first sale, which was a big success. They took orders for birdhouses and asked if I had any more lumber. I spent yesterday afternoon prepping another two dozen boards to fill the back orders.

In kudos for the lumber, they posted a sign in front of the their display.

My thanks to you all here that have allowed me to learn how to operate the mill and to Wood-Mizer who as always treated me a first owner of their mill (even though I am the third owner)

Good for you helping the scouts out!  They did a good job on houses.
