I buy and get all my bands sharpened at Moira precision. He makes bands on site to any length you want. I am not sure if he ships though. Very good guy to deal with. Near Belleville Ontario.

Well I ordered 10 Lenox woodmaster GT this morning from online site not sure if I can mention it on forum but after the 5 free discount worked out to $10.86 USD a blade & free shipping had them shipped to my us address . Still going to buy some Kasco 7* like Grizzley mentioned but at about $14.50  Canadian a blade hard to turn down. See how they work when they get here .

haven't got new blades yet but stepped up the lube seemed to work better so far also been real careful to sweep logs of any debris

Sawed some more yesterday stepped up the lubricant flow seemed to work better

It is good you're getting better results.  I think the key to successful sawmilling is to experiment until things get better, if possible.  Just remember:  one definition of insanity is doing things exactly the same over and over again and expecting different results.

I like that definition , I always tell my kids don't be afraid to try something new part of the learning curve is mistakes and hopefully you learn from them
