Looks like a long day :D

Speaking of stickers and long days...do you deadstack packs of boards off the mill, then sticker?
Or do you sticker each board as it's sawn?
Are you solo, or do you have help?

YellowHammerisms:

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Be smarter than the sawdust

If I were the boss, I'd send you home, but just before I did that, I'd decide not to because I'd know that is what you wanted.

YH, I stick as I go. This time of the year I do get some help.
By Dec, It slows down some and I can keep up alone.
Then when the snow comes I can rest.  :D :D ;)

Nice sticking job and nice buildings, Peter.

I had a young man help sticker some red pine over the 4th of July. When I said some thing about his crocked/angled stickers.  He asked if I was making fun of his lazy eye :o. Then he pinched his fingers on a angled sticker :D. Told him if he put them in straight he would not get pinched.  He was a good sport about it and it had been a long hot day.

I tell the customer to back up to the Red flag, to fill their truck with wood chips.

Do you know there are like 10 ways to back up  to the flag.  :o ::) :D :D
