SO, what is the problem with ketchup on fried taters or meat loaf? ;D Meat loaf is one thing my mom made that I never liked, almost as bad as liver. Karen's is really good, maybe my taste buds have changed.

Goodies from the garden and a tritip on the Q. I started the tritip this morning by working papain , oil, vinegar, and spices into the meat with a fork to get things tender. 15 minutes each side on very high heat Manzanita wood , then 15 minutes under a towel on the kitchen counter, then slice.  Cheers  Rob

Leftover chinese food tonight..had it last night the won ton soup tasted kinda funny and I felt kinda sick today keeled over a couple times on account of my stomach pain.  Gonna eat more of it tonight, and if I get sick again tomorrow, I'll know what did it to me...or I'll build a new immunity
Boy, back in my day..

Home alone tonight. Had a white sweetpotatoe sliced about 5/8" and boiled to almost done. Then drained and placed in a buttered dish and topped with a little cinnamon and more butter. Baked till done. Yum.

Pork in cast iron on a bed of oil, garlic, and dried mushrooms. The chili in the center is so hot we had to open ALL of the house windows to breathe at all.

I had the same thing with pasta last night. I opened a new jar of sauce and added fresh tomato and onion but the pain almost left me in tears. Tried the left over tonight, good so far.
