Has anyone found a way of removing water marks on rough sawn board(without planing)?  I have new-ish circle mill oak boards that have some water marks, and beech and oak barnwood boards that have water marks.  Just want to know if anyone has found a liquid concoction to dissolve the water marks?
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

Don't know of a liquid but have scraped them off with a chisel at 90 degrees to the board. Pulling it across will remove the mark and still leave a rough surface.

Would like to know this as well. one of our local cabinet mills will cull the whole stack if they see what they call water marks. they claim its hard to get out, but i have often questioned this .

You might try liquid house hold bleach. I've used it successfully and not, a mystery.
