Firewood splitting season--oak and madrone, maybe a bit less than two cords altogether.  That should be plenty.  So you see, there IS something to be said for living in California.

By the end of summer, it'll be ready to burn.

Nice looking wood pile. I have been working some wood also between corn and bean planting. It has been a little on the warm side here in eastern Nebraska for cutting wood but some help has been around. I usually burn around 15 cord threw my Garn a year. Last winter was pretty nice here and we only burned 10 cord. I like to get the wood cut and split to give it some time to dry before we get back to full burning season. We run our Garn year around to heat our water.
