Spring sawing pics

We have been sawing of and on as the weather permits this spring



We still have lots of snow but it is melting . That is the bottom of my kiln that blew over last fall still half snowed over.


This is part of an order of 4x4's and 2x4's that we sawed last week . The 2x4's are D4S the 4x4 ,s were left rough .



This is the planer shed. Went in and cleaned the shavings this morning. We have sawed about 225 logs which is good for us so far.

Good job, I get a kick on how you stick your lumber. What are the big tanks on top of the hill?

I would bet the tanks are propane

The two tanks are insulated and heated water tanks. They are part of the town water supply system . New system since just two years. Those two hold treated water. Just out of frame is another tank with raw water. Water comes from three small lakes on the island . Pumped into the raw water tank . Treated at the water treatment plant then transferred to those two tanks in the pic and then by heated pipeline to the homes in the village. Seems to be working good.
