Has anyone on here used the Oregon "Speedcut system"? I'm thinking about trying this setup for my old 024 Stihl.

The saw is more fun than the purpose of the wood... the forest is trembling 🌳

Was this at the cutting edge gtg?  I meant to go to that, I had a few hardwood cants I was going to bring for the race saws, but since I'm not active on any of the forums where it's discussed I completely forgot about it!

I know I know, my calendar is always on the wrong month anyways lol

The best part is, that Sunday was one of the ones I took off and I clearly remember saying to myself outside cutting firewood that it seemed there wasnt anything going on today and I could go for something fun lol

Worst case it ends up like a conventional chain..:) But still has the narrow cerf design & other characteristics unique to the design.

From what I've read about the Speedcut chain, it sounds like from the factory they are supposedly ground more similar to the profile of a round file. So as long as you use the proper size file, it should sharpen just fine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my understanding.
