Sappling puller recommendation?

I'm considering getting a sapling puller to yank some of the Buckthorn on my property and on some conserved property where herbicide use is not permitted.  I've seen a Weed Wrench used effectively on similar projects, but it is no longer being made.

I'm now looking at the PullerBear (probably the Pro XL or Pro XL321 model), or possibly the Extractigator (probably their largest size, the classic, with is still smaller and lighter than the PullerBear Pro XL).

Has anyone had experience with either of these? I've heard the Pullerbear jaws are more suited to woody stems - which has me leaning towards it for buckthorn, but that those aggressive jaws sometimes just shear off softer stemmed plants.  I'd love to hear some real-world experience, if any of you have used these tools.
