I just finished putting my 621 back together after replacing a scored piston and cylinder.  I have done the seals and o-rings on the oil pumo, plus gaskets, so I think I took care of the air leak which scored everything up.  Now I am ready to put the saw back to work.  How should I break it in?  I don't want to mess this saw up after all the work I have done to it.  Thanks.

I would put chain saw oil in the cylinder and pull the starter cord with the switch off several times to coat everything then use a rich mix and fire it up.
Let it warm up a few minutes then put it to work.

Thanks for the info, Kevin.  I am looking forward to having a lighter saw for cutting when I get tired of carrying my 920.
