Anyone heard about a new Husqvarna "dirty" saw coming out in  the near future? Heard from old timer saw shop guy yesterday and he mentioned that they said a 70cc range saw was coming out and was suppose to be a non emissions style like the 372xp.
Of course he's kinda old and crazy so he might be talking about something that was coming out in 1997.

Old 'dirty' saws are still available for south east Asia and other markets where emissions are not taken seriously but I very much doubt they will ever be seen in North America.

The 272xp, that they still make in Brazil for third world markets, is of course a "dirty" saw in this context - but there is nothing "new" about it (came out in 1991, but the basic design is from 1975).

The original non-"strato" 372xp also still is made in Brazil, for the same kind of markets. That one came out in 1999, based on a 1995 design (371xp).
Information collector.

And of course we know the new 70cc saw will not be dirty, eh Niko?  :)
