Appreciate the replies. I remembered last night after I had already ordered two new springs that I still had one from when the cable broke several years ago. I managed to find where it hooked to easy enough. Went ahead and tighened the drive belt while I had the guard off. Also found a solinoid in my spare parts box. Need to replace that too. Been bypassing it for a couple of months now.
