My best friend needed some workbenches, 2 normal ones and than one that has some weight so he can make some force on it without tipping it. so i went a little bananas on the heavy one. he gave me some hardwood he had lying around, 850kg to the m3!! but surprisingly smooth to plan it.

First 3 lighter tables (one is for me) are 2180x 810x 30mm and weight is 70kg (86"x 32"x 1.2" / 155lbs)

The big one: 2180x 1000x 100mm and weight is 240kg (86"x 40"x 4" / 530lbs)
Had to make 4 pieces so i could still carry them to the painting area and then assembled all together, will load it with an a frame on to my pickup. The legs are 4" x 4"

Great Job. That is some real nice looking wood for a workbench.  :)

That's a good looking bench, I wouldn't want to pound on it!

I seen an 8 x 8 foot press plate at the junkyard yesterday. I wanted
it for a weld table. They told my it weighed 5000 lbs so I passed.

You got some nice workbenches there...
