It may be a small percentage here who are into the blues but if you like wailing white women and screaming guitars, try this by Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEHwO_UEp7A
For my wife and I, it causes goosebumps!

Measure twice, cut once

I hope your computer is plugged into a stereo or you have good earbuds. Go full screen, too. Beth can be a bad girl at times and would not get past the forum censors but this one was clean.  ;)

Wow great song! I've always liked Joe Bonamassas music the guy is just plain talented and is one of my favorites. And dang that woman can sing. Ball peen hammer by Bonamassa is a killer song as well. Glad I'm not the only one that enjoys the blues, thanks for sharing

Den Socling

Patti and I can't agree who is the show - Beth or Joe. Here is another great one. She gets a little sensual but I think it's still OK here.

I'll look up ball peen hammer.

Den Socling

Yep. Here is ball peen hammer.

We are going to see Beth in concert on March 2 when we get back from Phoenix. We're supposed to fly first class tomorrow and it's dumping snow at the moment. 5" to 8" expected. That darn flight better not be cancelled. Beth is going to be in Stroudsburg, PA if anybody is interested.

Sweet!
Our construction motorhome was the blues terraplane  :)
Safe travels, it's evil out there this morning.

only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Den Socling

The roads look wet but the snow is off of them. BTW we can't afford to fly first class. These tickets are the result of fly miles.

Warren Haynes-your wildest dreams is another good one. There's a 12-13 minute live version that is about as good as it gets

I don't have the bandwidth to watch/listen to the video, but we have a couple of Beth Hart / Joe Bonamassa CD's ("Don't Explain" and "Seesaw") which see to get played a lot ;D.

We "discovered" Beth Hart when she performed with Jeff Beck at Eric Clapton's 2013 Crossroads Guitar Festival (which is why we bought the CD's).

Well, despite weather delays we are in Phoenix. I bought a couple Beth & Joe CD's too but I keep going back to the videos on YouTube. Seeing those two perform adds so much I can't get enough. I'm really looking forward to live concerts.

Beth & Joe playing the Blues together is my all-time favorite!!!  Have been listening to them for years on U-Tube.  You're right about the goosebumps too.  Have even shed a tears or two (after a few of my favorite malt beverages...).  Saw Joe & his band in Boston a couple of years ago--B-day present from my daughter.  Check out Beth at the Kennedy Center Honors singing "I'd rather go blind" with Jeff Beck.  All the best, Rob.
If you have time, you win....

Den Socling

Rob, I sure wish I had discovered them years ago on YouTube! That's why I put them in this forum even though the blues might not be really popular among most members. Those who do get it and love it for the first time deserve to be shown. And you're right about the tears. The first time I played them for Patti, I was standing behind her, the goosebumps came out, the tears rolled down and I felt thoroughly exhilarated.

sawwood

I can't wait to get back to my computer that is plugged into the stereo!
I think you can find Beth's albums at Joe Bonamassa's on-line store.

I just ordered Fire on the Floor. $12.99

Den Socling

I'm back home and connected to my stereo. Warren Haynes is good but I still think Beth and Joe are on top. I love the blues and I hope you guys have you computers connected to your stereo.

sawwood  that is good music and boy but Beth looks cute! I ordered the CD but don't have it yet.

Den Socling

I've now seen so many videos that I now now where Beth is and how old she is.  :)

Patti and I saw Beth in Stroudsburg last night. She is so great! Every time I looked at Patti's face, I could see she was in heaven. She does a lot more than the blues. She writes great music about her life and she puts every ounce of energy in singing. She is doing 14 shows in the US this month then Australia, Turkey, Germany, Croatia, England, Denmark, Serbia and everyplace else you ever heard of. We were really lucky to catch her in PA last night. Joe is in Pittsburgh tonight. Wish we could be there because he is also heading to Europe.  :)
