Tim,

   Thanks for posting. I had to send it to my Norwegian daughter in Aurland. She was one of our exchange students many years ago. She should get a kick out of it too.

   I spent 2 years in Kristiansand in southern Norway. They are great folks but definitely have their own ways of doing things.

I have no idea but I suspect that he was very sober for one.
It was probably done in multiple takes with time for a significant warm up between takes.
And three the individual is a very hardy type that does the polar bear plunge every year just for fun.
