All, Do you know what this is? I have 4-5 photos in my photo album under MD Wood but am having a terrible time cutting and pasting them here.

Helps to know what state,country you are from for an ID. I suppose this was wood you cut??

One of the red oaks that had hypoxylon canker... which one????

Definitely a red oak.  Depending on where you are, but it could be black oak or maybe southern red oak.  The wood is indistinguishable, so does not really matter, but it is a red oak.
