1.pretty sure this is white oak from 2 different trees.big leaves had acorns that were definately white oak( audubon) had the big leaves as bur oak.



 

2.i know thisis sassafras but i thought it was cool to get all 3 leaf types on one branch.



 

3. blackgum? tree gets small clumps of white flowers but no fruit.fall bring lots of red colors.

4. heres a pine. i think its slash. all needles seem to be pairs only, around 7in long.

thanks for any help.i thought i was ok with most trees but once you through in leaf veriations and mix breeds,well you start questioning ,lol.

It is white oak white oak.  Quercus alba. 

Blackgum?  Yes.  Bright red leaves in Fall, one of the first to turn, Yes.  Fruit is a black drupe. 

Blackgum bark?  Yes

Slash pine?  Yes.

Sassafras leaf shapes cool?  Yes.
