So, I've got an old (and I mean old) H-series Prentice log loader, affectionately dubbed "Old Nasty". Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago Old Nasty gave up the ghost and the boom snapped off, taking our operator with it (luckily he wasn't hurt). Now, I'm stuck trying to find a short spindle for it. Anybody have any ideas where the heck I can find this super obsolete part? I'm pretty sure I might be SOL  :-[

Here's a pic of her:

Any help is greatly appreciated!

ehp

Autocar

There's a fellow north of me just west of Lima Ohio that has a old 110 trailer mount if thats something you might be interested in I can give him a call and if he wants to sell it I would pass his number on to you.

ehp- I'm in Nashville, TN, so Ontario is a little far for me!

coxy and Autocar- As far as I can tell, only the H series had the short spindle in it, so I don't think a 110 would work. I might have to do a little research on that though.

snowstorm- I'm just surprised that it lasted as long as it did!

coxy

short spindle  :-\  do you mean the one that the bearing and gear are on for the swing
