I keep getting bigger and bigger logs to saw and I dont have room for a deck.
I really dont have room to get my BIG tractor in my small sawing spot.
Last time I tried loading a large log I knocked my mill off its blocks.
So I'm makeing a mobile log deck that I can pull up to the barn and load.
Them al I have to do is back up to the mill and roll them off.
I'm just getting started on it.

If i had a Bobcat I probably would not need this deck...

Yea I want a log deck. Climbing on and off that thing for every log is rather tiring and time consuming.

Yeah, that is one ugly link!

Kbeitz,
How is this going to work?  The orientation will the logs will be crosswise? The pins are for holding the logs back while moving them?

The pins pull out. Also the logs will run lenghtwise with the trailer.
The tight spot that I have the sawmill in did not give me much room
to pull in with a tractor and make a turn with the log to line up with
the mill. I will be only putting one BIG log or a few small ones at a
time on this deck and then drive the deck in along side of the mill to
roll them off.

I cant get your link to work...

You just need to remove the bracket at the begining.

If it doesn't work, copy the link and paste in your adress bar.

Tho, here's a cleaner link.

https://www.purplewave.com/auction/120411/item/D8918

I still just get a white blank page...

With both links?

Even copying the link and pasting it in the adress bar?

That means that your browser is out of date. I get the same with internet explorer 8, Chrome and mozzilla work fine.

Kbeitz, that's an old XP you're running on your computer?

If yes, your browser must be internet explorer 8, same as mine. And as i told you, the target link doesn't open in internet explorer 8

If you want to see, use either chrome, iron or firefox.

I can't give you better help sorry.

I see, nice solution.  My work area will be somewhat similar to yours.  Long, narrow driveway.  My log arch was supposed to fit over my mill and probably will IF I make some timbers for the wheels to ride up upon.  I need to remeasure but IIRC, the side tubes are narrower than my bed.   I've just been using my SkyTrak but at some point I will be selling that to recover some money.

I was going to use my arc to load logs also
but trying to get it lined up with the mill
was not working out.
