My new mill came today Lt15go very happy with it but how do you vent the water tank

It's not too late to say Welcome to the Forestry Forum, Muleman35 and Congratulations on the new LT15.

If your tank is like mine remove the cap.  My old tank had a 1/8" hole so I left the cap on my new one and drilled a hole in the tank that is up when the tank is mounted.

I was thinking  about just removing the small cap but I might try the 1/8 dill bit

You will like making sawdust. What's all the lumber going to be used for?

Drill the 1/8----1/16 hole in the cap then put a dab of silicone on the threads so you don't lose the cap from vibrations you can always replace the cap that  way and have a sealed container.

I simply leave the cap a little loose, never falls off.

x2 I used to leave mine loose but after having to find it in sawdust piles a few times I finally lost it for good. crank it on tight and drill a hole  and be done with it.

Digest the last thread on the index page and then ask questions if you need to.  The only dumb question is an unasked question.   ;)
