Every once in while someone will ask me how did I learn timber framing.

I usually tell them that I learned from others who were taught face to face by older timber framers.

My second workshop, that I took, was with Jack Sobon and his teaching partner, Dave Carlon at the Hancock Shaker Village museum, in western MA.

Several regular Forestry Forum members have also been there, as well.

This year's event is taking place on September 21st to 25th.

If anyone need an information package about it, send me an email and I'll forward you this year's registration package, that I just received from Dave Carlon.

I highly recommend this class known as "A traditional Approach"

Wish there were some courses like this up in my neck of the woods.
