Circular Saw Mill Blades?

Saw these blades at my local fleamarket today.  Was wondering if they're from a sawmill.  They were maybe 2 1/2 or 3' tall. 



I was tempted to buy them and try to make a DIY mill, but thought of how much I like my hands and fingers so didn't bother

Buzzsaw blades.  Best use is on....a buzzsaw.  Other uses are art.  Steel is l6 or 7 and can be used for knives or other cutting implements as it has enough carbon to be hardened.  I get in trouble if Kathy catches me cutting one up for such things. :D

These were known in the old days as "wood saws".  They were powered by a variety of schemes to cut wood slabs and small logs into stove-length firewood.  The insert tooth saw put these blades in the shade many years ago for sawmill applications.   Regards, Clark
