Well we have finally made a decision on what sawmill to buy. It's been thought over long and hard for quite some time, and have put in our purchase order for a Lumberjack band sawmill. We are not buying the track just the carriage, motor and saw head, we have plenty of 4x4x1/4 angle iron to fab up our own 20 ft track.
  Just wanted to share
        Thanks David

Nice looking saw - never seen them before.  I see another saw in the background.  Are those the "floor" models at the "showroom"?  What is the capacity of those?  It looks fairly wide but doesn't look like the blade height is nearly as large - maybe just the pictures.

John,
Yes those are floor models. The one that we are getting can cut a 21" diameter log and has a 12 hp motor.
Here's a link to their website.   http://www.lumberjackbandsaws.com

Dang, how do you get a 21 foot diameter log up on the mill in the first place?   ;-)
