http://www.cookssaw.com/index.php/sawmill-blade-insight/the-real-scoop-on-gullet-grinding   .  To me after 2 million bf plus one of the biggest breakers of blades is having the back flange on the guide wheels to close to the back of the blade on higher HP mills, the blade has to bend around the flange when pushing hard , I run mine 1/4 back as Cooks recommends with excellent blade life   .  Steve
