A couple hunks of wood out the door today

A hanging art piece , contour sanded , buffed oil finish, part of a bedroom set I'm doing. The table is 5 feet by 11, quilted claro walnut , 2 1/2 inches thick. Finish is awlgrip 2000 polished to 8000 grit. Rob

The slabs are impressive but I also noticed those really really nice shop doors.  I suppose you just kicked them out in your spare time. :D

The shop doors are made from some big (16x16) old clear heart redwood beams.These were salvaged from fire watch towers taken down in the 1960's.Note the bee hive holes which I left intact and bookmatched in the finished doors. Rob

What I can't figure out is why so many guys are hooked onto it. ??? ??? ???
