I need some help identifying this tree. Leaves are evergreen, smooth, and waxy. Flowers grow in clusters of white, four petal blooms. Fruit are dark (possibly black) berries. They're probably not poisonous since I can keep my dog out of them when they fall in late summer. Could not figure out how to attach the photo so I'll just make it my icon.

Since you mention the flowers, I assume it is blooming now?  That and the black berries makes me think it might be Chinese Privet.

You're amazing. I think that's it. Thank you so much.
