Do we have any jewelers on here?  My wife's wedding ring broke recently, this is sort of a Frankenstein ring we picked out and had special made.  The wedding band was connected with a pair of earrings (one on each side) with tanzanite stones, one of the bands broke and it lost several stones.  The company it was bought from went out of business last year so the life long guarantee went with them, she's asked several other shops and they've all said it would be impossible to match the remaining stones, this is just more of a curiosity question than anything, she just wants it fixed.  Thanks in advance.

My daughter is an experienced jeweler. So's her boss.

Do you have any photos of the damaged ring? It might not be practical to send it here to get fixed, but I'm sure she could give you an opinion on how hard it would be to repair.

If you don't want to display it all over the net you can send me photos by e-mail.

Thanks Brucer, I'll get some pics of it.  It really is a neat one of a kind type ring, that's why she'd like to have it repaired.
