it sure was beautiful up in the allegheny national forest goin to bradford yesterday, and the trip to cleveland today was nice too.

over there in central PA is a little nicer than here. we are a little flatter.

i sure wish i could have seen it before the white man blacktoped it. even before they came over!!!

all that big timber musta been a real sight!!!
400+ft tall, and 350 to the branches with a 22ft bole???

and whole forests of em!!! with no people or roads or towns to hinder the landscape......

climbed azure mtn the other day to check out the newly restored firetower, and i couldnt beleive the roads that carve up the mtns.

and the big timber, drive down rt 10 and discover what our fathers saw when they got here, virgin timber in all its glory, dont even need to get out of the car!
