Just got a bargain basement MS361 off eBay.Runs real good, just needs some TLC and a few small parts to get it back 100%.It didnt run too good when I first got it, the coil and flywheel were absolutely packed with sawdust, after a good cleaning there and a new plug it is much better. It is amazing how people will use and abuse these fine saws, never do any maintenance, then just give up when they wont start as they once did.
Being a new toy I have been doing some routine cleaning and detail cleaning to get it back in good shape.Has anyone ever figured out a way to get the oil stain from the handle/ gas tank area.It is stained brown from the two cycle oil.I see people water sanding and clear coating but not a big fan of that idea.

wipe it off best you can and go cut wood. It's a tool, not a decoration.
Too many chainsaws, not enough wood.
