skid steer with the shear who made them and how good are they

Bobcat, and I think the design was then licensed to Barko. (Or Barko repainted the Bobcat etc).
No idea on the efficacy.

They were Barko. I believe they weighed in around 9 tons. I saw one work and it was impressive but the operator said it was dangerous at times. More for flat plantation type work he said. It looked stable to me but he said you had to be careful with it and it took awhile to get used to it.

Bell built a tracked feller buncher with the same drive train as the 3 wheeler, could either use a saw head or shear.

They were too light and too tippy. I saw one working that had added lead in the back end and a head that swiveled. The operator still said it was for flat ground only.
Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

They look cool, but that's all know.
I've met Vets who have lived but still lost their lives... Thank a Vet

Family man and loving it :)

morflail

company I work for has 2 of the 3 wheel saw machines a morbark and valmet.  Keep them in timber they can handle  and for thinning pine they are fast and productive . We also have 2 hydro-ax for the big timber .
