Roast tomatoes

My wife is busy halving Roma tomatoes and roasting them at 350 for an hour with sweet onion and garlic. They will go into freezer bags for later use in pasta, chili, stews or as a side dish. She can also puree them and add cream to make soup. The kitchen sure smells good. No more Prego for us.  ;D

They look great!   I have pureed them before but I like the way your wife did it .

I will need to try it when I can get some decent sized tomatoes.

They look really good. I will have to try that soon. We planted Principe Borghese tomatos this year which are a small Italian sun drying type and the dehydrator has been running all week making the house smell great.  :)
