One thing I really wanted a bandmill for is book matching smaller slabs. Here is the first attempt.  10ft x 14in x 8qtr. I am guite pleased with the result!

Yes they look good, I came across some knotty pine back in the winter that made some real pretty match boards, the knots really show it off good,
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

It must be heavenly, because I can see angel wings in the first picture!!!!

Very nice... what type of wood?

Knots and figure sure do bring out the bookmatched...the side of my barn looks like a 32 foot series of bookmatched in parts... Well, I guess it kinda is...I put the boards up as they got stacked right off the mill...I'm the only one who truly appreciated it

Looks very nice Seaman. Is that Maple?
The older I get I wish my body could Re-Gen.

Seaman

Sorry, that is indeed Maple.
That log was a little soft in the center, so I got a couple of good slabs from each side on the Lucas, turned it to square the third side in the Lucas, then moved it to the WM.

When 14" boards are your "smaller" ones, life is good.
