At present I have a Current Designs 120 Kestrel (12') for flat water use.  I'm looking for something different to use on lakes.  Most days I'll drop it in the water for a few hours only.  Something faster, more efficient would be a better term.  It needs to track well, a skeg would be ok.  I transport in the back of my truck but that  could change.  Weight is a consideration as I'm often by myself.  I'm thinking I need to be looking at 14' or longer boats.  No interest in the sit on or fishing yaks.

Looking for recommendations.

we have 3 10 footer poly ones. bottom end sit in models. I would prefer sit on as it gets a bit crampy when you just can bend your legs as you want. we used to use them a lot but have not touched water in a while.
It seems I am a coarse thread bolt in a world of fine threaded nuts!

Have a look at the Black Pearl or one of his other designs.
