I've been selling small amounts of hardwood lumber by advertising on craigslist and Facebook and had good results but I'm wanting to start filling some larger orders.Does anyone have a suggestion on how to find customers who want ongoing orders a lumber broker maybe? Thanks

Brokers aren't going to go with any less than 1 Mbf of a given species at a given thickness.  Some will buy 2 Com & btr, and others will want a certain grade.  Need to be well produced - ie thickness must be within the standards and consistent, ends well trimmed and wane kept to a minimum.

Get a webpage.  There are companies who troll Google looking for new millers to recruit and become suppliers. Of course it doesn't mean they will all be good jobs.

Keep doing what you are doing, selling to smaller buyers, eventually the bigger fish will find you.

It just takes time and a good reputation.

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.
