Has anyone tried it? Who is it made by? Is it any good?

I think there was a thread on them here a while ago.   Chinese crap if I recall.  If I wanted a small saw for short money I would probably get a 345 Husky or a 400p Echo.

You get what you pay for. I work for a national supplier of lawn and garden care products. Was in the back of a big box store and they had a whole shopping cart of weedeaters awaiting repair or destroying. All the same brand and sold for like $89.00 retail.

Junk. But cheap with a name brand. Well years ago it was a name brand till a company bought the name and cheapened everything up.
Give me a new saw chain and I can find you a rock in a heartbeat.

Here we have Hi-Max, Pro-Max, and many more all are clones of a 43cc Zenoah. Models available as 43, 52, 56, 58 and now a 65cc.
The 6202 crank bearings are of the cheapest kind, probably more suited in pumps or fans.
I replaced them with a couple of old Stihl bearings after which the saw had a different character altogether.
Quality is questionable, but at a low of $.40, nobody questions.
Roughly, for each branded saw there are about 200 of these saws.
